Lincoln Release Record Contacts
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is the first contact for a county booking, the jail docket, or a release sheet. Ask for an existing record and include the full name, booking number when known, and approximate booking and release dates.

Where Each Question Goes
The right office depends on which system created the record. These routes separate a jail departure from a court outcome or state discharge:
- For a county release or release sheet, begin with the Lincoln County home search and records process, then contact the sheriff.
- For post-release supervision, use the Probation & Parole page and the Lincoln Probation & Parole Office.
- For a recent county departure, inspect Jail Releases: 24 Hours and the sheriff’s official 48-hour view.
- For a state forecast or alert, use Projected Release or VINELink Inmate Search.
- For a facility-specific path, choose the correct county, state, BOP, or ICE page in the footer.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, search MDOC or contact MDOC Records at 601-933-2889.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator rather than the county roster.
State and Court Offices
Court files explain bond, dismissal, sentence, probation, and other legal outcomes. State records address MDOC custody and discharge.
